Ubud Monkey Forest, which is also known as Mandala Suci Wenara Wana is the natural habitat and sanctuary of the Balinese long-tailed Monkey, scientifically known as Macaca fascicularis. About 1050 monkeys live in this sanctuary.

Tegenungan Waterfall is located at the Tegenungan Kemenuh village in Gianyar which is North from the capital Denpasar and close to the artist village of Ubud. The waterfall is in isolation but has become a popular tourist attraction. It is one of the few waterfalls in Indonesia that is not situated in mountainous and highlands territory.
