Barefoot at Havelock resort consists of 31 elegantly designed, island-inspired tents, cottages and villas complete with spacious interiors and modern amenities. We are the first and only ecologically friendly resort in the Andaman Islands.

THE SWIMMING ELEPHANT - RESTAURANT AT BAREFOOT AT HAVELOCK

Named in honour of the famous elephant known for its unique talent, The Swimming Elephant today remains a tribute to the late Rajan. Much of the organically grown vegetables and herbs for the kitchen come from our very own garden or are sourced from local vendors on the island.

DUGONG DUGON - BAR AT BAREFOOT AT HAVELOCK

Like many structures in the resort, Dugong Dugon lounge bar is inspired by one of the endemic inhabitants of the Andaman Islands. Radhanagar bay has extensive seagrass beds, which attract dugongs, also known as sea cows. The name of our bar pays homage to Zoe, a resident dugong who grazes in the vicinity, one of last remaining of a locally endangered species.

Kindle your interest in botany by taking a tour of the kitchen garden and livestock farm at Barefoot at Havelock - Our Radhanagar beach resort. Our stand on sustainability led us to create a small kitchen garden and establish plantations, where we grow some of our own herbs, fruits, and vegetables. You are welcome to visit the garden, plantations, and livestock farm and later order a daily special made from sustainably sourced produce.
