The trek to the Devi Mandir is a not to be missed experience for those who wouldn’t mind challenging themselves to a bit of an uphill trudge. The brave of heart who do undertake this trek will be amply rewarded for their tenacity when they reach the hill top, for nothing one can say can prepare anyone for what they will see or experience at the summit.
Kuleti Forest
It is a must do. Relatively easy on the foot, it is a comfortable walk with Nature putting up its very best show. The flora and fauna and an occasional sighting of a a barking deer may make this humble trek well worth the effort! Post breakfast or post lunch is a good time for doing this trek.
Reti Khan Village
Midway to the Devi Mandir trek, there is a diversion to the Reti Khan village. It is less strenuous than the Devi Mandir trek (or can be combined with the Devi Mandir trek) and it is an exhilarating trek to a remote Himalayan village.

By Car – From Delhi: 325 km, a journey of around 6-7 hours from Delhi via Hapur, Gajraula, Moradabad, Rampur, Bilaspur, Rudrapur, Haldwani, Kathgodam, Bhimtal, Bhowali to Gagar, Ramgarh.
By Train – From Delhi: New Delhi Kathgodam Shatabdi Express (12040) leaves New Delhi Railway Station at 06:00 am and arrives at Kathgodam at 11:40 am. The car journey from Kathgodam to Soulitude takes 1 hour 15 minutes. On return, the train (12039) leaves Kathgodam at 15:35 pm and arrives at New Delhi Railway Station at 21:05 pm.
By Air: Ramgarh does not have direct air connectivity. The nearest airport is located at Pantnagar, which is approximately 75 km from Ramgarh. Only Air India operates between Delhi and Pantnagar
