Criteria
1. Age
Factor:
The minimum age to apply for
the Canadian PR is 18 Years and above. Point vary with age factor up to 46. The
lower the age, more the points. Maximum points can be achievable in the age
group of 18-35.
2. Language
proficiency Test:
The two Official language of
Canada are English and French. For Canada PR, one must achieve proficiency
(minimum CLB7) in any of the above language. For that you need to attain
language proficiency test conducted by approved language testing agency, such
as IELTS for English proficiency.
3. Educational
Credential Assessment:
Minimum Academic Qualification
for Canadian Permanent Residency is Graduation in any stream. However, applying
as a skilled worker for Canada PR from an overseas country, ECA (Educational
Credential Assessment) is mandatory from approved authority, such as WES. It is
essential for IRCC to verify qualification from outside Canada.
4. Work
experience:
At least 1 Year of Work
experience is required for applying Canadian PR. However, on point-based
immigration system of Canada, getting IRCC invitation for Canada PR one must
earn high enough points. Therefore, at least 3 Years of work experience is
helpful to earn good points.

STEPS IN THE PR APPLICATION PROCESS
Step 1: Check the eligibility requirements

eligibility requirements.
· Verify the list of
occupations in demand that if your occupation is present.
· Check if you get
the required points based on the above points table.
Step 2: English proficiency Test
Check if you have the required proficiency
in the English language by taking the specified English language test.
Fortunately, the Australian authorities accept scores from number of ability
tests of English like IELTS, TOEFL, PTE etc. So, you can take any of these
tests to obtain the specified score.
Step 3: Get your skill assessment done
Get your skills assessed by the
Skills assessment authority which is an organization that will assess your
skills, education and work experience based on Australian standards.
Step 4: Register your Expression of
Interest
· Next step is to get
register yourself on Australia’s Skill Select website through Expression of
Interest (EOI). Applicant should fill an online form on the Skill Select portal
where you should give answers to questions on your skill set which is based on
the visa sub class you are applying under. The Skill Select program offers
three visa categories under which you can apply for a PR visa.
· Skilled Independent
Visa Subclass 189
· Skilled Nominated
Visa 190
· Skilled regional
(provisional) Subclass 491
The first two are permanent visas
while the third one is a temporary visa with a validity of five years which can
later be converted to a PR visa.
You should provide all the required
information in the online application.
Step
5: Get your Invitation to Apply (ITA)
You will get an Invitation to Apply
(ITA) for Australia PR, Once you submit your application and it meets all the
requirements.
Step 6: Submit your PR application
